Mamiya Debuts DM22 Digital Camera for Under $10K

Announced one month ago, the new Mamiya DM22, a medium format DSLR, will be available next month for $9,995 (€6690)…

Developed in collaboration with Phase One, this “lower-end” professional DSLR features a 22Mpix sensor (48x36mm), 5356x4056 pixels, an ISO range of 25-400, a 16-bit/ channel RAW image quality, a dynamic range of 12 f/stops, and a CF Card Slot.

Besides the DM22, Mamiya also announced the price for the 28 megapixel version, the MD28. It will cost $14,990 or €10,000.

Canon EOS-1D Mark IV… Now Official

The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV is now official, and like the 7D, 5D MK II the 1D Mark IV has also a video mode (1080/24/30p and 720/60p)… That I hope is better tweaked than the 7D… Anyway this camera is a 16.1Mpix with 45 AF point and an ISO range up to 128000 (native) and can goes up (like the Nikon) to 102400 !!! It features, like the 7D, a dual Digic 4 image processor… Not impressed?

Pentax K-x Tuned with Japanese “Kore Ja Nai Robo” Colors

Cubes Japan launched in 2006, a USB thumbkey based on the Kore Ja Nai Robo” and two years later it's Pentax's turn to use this unique robot design on their Pentax K-x to give it, well, some attitude…

Just for fun I'd would love to get this baby and use it at a press conference to see how people react...
