Yet, another ultra compact FLCOS Projector

Princeton's latest projector, the PPR-QT Series, is an ultra compact video projector with a 50x50x50mm size and a tiny weight of just 120g. Yep, that for sure is a compact projector, but don’t expect any further from it as this baby is only capable of supporting 300x224 resolution and offers only a 100:1 contrast ratio.

Don’t know about you, but 300x224 is WAY too small for me… like a compact video projector. Hey, come on !!! Bring us at LEAST VGA resolution.

Two bright data projectors from Mitsubishi Electric

There comes the new brother projectors from Mitsubishi, the LVP-XD 600 and LVP-XD 620, in their compact bodies , weighing 3.6 kg and featuring 4000 lm and 4500 lm respectively. They also both have a long-durance lamps of about 5000 hours and their interface is provided with analog D-Sub/HDMI and S/composite video input to mention but two.

Besides the aforementioned specs, LVP-XD 600 is also equipped to support 3D contents display by simultaneously using 3D glasses.

Aiptek T30 pico projector debuts in Europe

Aiptek, known manufacture of micro projectors, released its new pico projector on market in November 2009, but only in Europe. It is Aiptek T30 pico projector.

Recall that the T30 is smallest pico projector from Aiptek. Despite its modest size, Aiptek T30 is boasts the presence of the following specifications:
- Brightness: 15 ANSI lumens
- Contrast: 200:1
- Resolution: VGA (640 x 480 pixels)

Aiptek T30 pico projector has a RGB LED Light projector which able to display a picture with a diagonal of 65-inch. It is also has an AV jack and it is compatible with the iPhone and iPod. Aiptek T30 pico projector has costs of $445.

Taxan to Release a New Ultra Compact Video Projector in Japan

Here's a new compact DLP video projector from Taxan, the KG-PL011S, offering an 80” (2.41m) worth image at just 183x60x122mm and 880g. It has a SVGA resolution, a 200 lumen brightness, a USB port for direct support of JPEG files and MPEG 1/2/4, DviX, XviD and Motion Jpeg video.

WIth it you can forward audio to a stereo thanks to its FM transmitter, and it features a HDMI port. It will be available in Japan around the middle of November.

Thanks to its newly develop design, our CP-A200J can project a 80” worth image just 63cm away from it source and still offer a bright image (3000 Lumens), while there are no price available yet for this little wonder, Hitachi is planning to sell this baby starting December first in Japan.

Tokyo, October 19, 2009 – SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (SANYO) is pleased to announce the release of the LP-XF1000 dual-lamp projector with rich color, on December 18, 2009. The projector features SANYO’s own QuaDriveTM Engine technology and offers the industry’s highest brightness*1 of 12,000 lumens in an AC 100V.

Last year, SANYO announced the LP-XP200L (7,000 lumens), the world’s first*2 projector to provide big-screen projection of realistic rich color for more beautiful and vivid images with a new optical engine – the QuaDriveTM Engine, which became a popular topic at that time.
